Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program is an immigration pathway designed to invite candidates who have the right skills, qualification and experience to join Ontario work force, for the Economic Development of the province.
There are many pathways under Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program; however the most common pathway among the lot is Express Entry Human Capital Stream. The requirements for Ontario Immigration are as follows:
- Register an Expression of Interest (EOI) in the Express Entry Pool
- A CRS score of 400 points and above to secure a Nomination from Ontario Express Entry
- Must possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D. degree or any equivalent degree from a recognized educational institution
- Get the Educational certificates assessed from WES
- Must carry 2 or more years of work experience for the chose occupation
- Must submit the English Language proficiency report with minimum score of CLB 7 in all 4 categories
Since the numbers of applications are always on the higher side, Ontario PNP also opts for Canada points system to assess each profile and shortlist the eligible candidates to roll out an invitation. The Canada Point system is given below:

A minimum score of 67 points is expected under the above 6 selection factors.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program Application Process

- Register your profile under Express Entry stream
- After registration a 3 digits scores are awarded based on your profile
- If your occupation falls under Ontario’s skill and in-demand occupation list, then you can directly apply for Ontario PNP from their official website
- If your scores are higher in the CRS, you will be eligible to receive the nomination from Ontario which eventually leads to Canada PR
