Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
An applicant can live, settle and work in a nominated state or territory in Australia for at least 2 years. This visa category requires the applicant to be nominated by the state, or the territory government.
Skilled Regional work Provisional visa (Subclass 491)
The Australian Visa category that replaces the former skilled regional Visa-subclass 489. An applicant can live, work and study in any designated regional arears of Australia for a maximum of 5 years. After staying in Australia for 3 years under this visa, an applicant automatically becomes eligible for PR.

- Lodge an Expression of Interest through SkillSelect-Australian online portal that requires you to furnish Age, qualification, IELTS/PTE test scores, work experience etc
- Furnish the skills assessment report from a certified Australian authority
- Ensure your Health and character requirements are met according to Australian Standards
- Once you verify all the details submit your Expression of Interest through SkillSelect and wait until you hear from the Australian Immigration Authority
- Upon selection of your Expression of Interest, you’ll be notified by the Australian department of Home affairs with an Invitation to Apply under chosen subclass via email and on SkillSelect
- You will be required to submit your Visa application along with necessary documents within 60 days of receiving your Invitation.
- On approval of your application, your Australian Permanent Residency will be granted.
