Visit Visa (Belarus)
A Belarus visa is a permit to travel to the country, enter and remain for a limited period, under specific purposes. The competent Belarus authorities grant the permit to applicants that meet the criteria and are asserted not to be a threat to the security of Belarus.
Documents required for Belarus visitor visa:
- Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any
- 2 Scanned recent colour photograph
- Visa Application forms: completed and signed
- Personal Covering letter: explaining purpose of travel to the country
- Original Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 3 months with bank seal
- Air tickets: proof of return flight tickets from and back to your home country
- Hotel reservation: proof of accommodation for your entire stay
Basic Requirements to visit Belarus
- Have a valid Passport and valid Belarus Visa
- Be in good health
- Good moral character
- Thorough knowledge of your accommodation and itinerary details to furnish at immigration if asked to
- Return flight tickets or onward flight tickets to ensure your return to home country or your next destination once your visa expires
- Adhere to the moral standards of the country and follow the general rules
Visa Processing Time
The processing time for the visa is usually 5 working days.
Extra fees will be charged for urgent processing requests. Applications may be rejected if applicants provide false details or incomplete application forms.
Duration of stay:
Visa for tourist purposes can be single- or double-entry and is issued for the period not longer than 30 days; for permanent residence: the decision of the regional branch of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
