Skilled Immigration
This program was designed to invite Skilled and Semi-skilled workers, which uses a point based invitation system that involves an online registration and a paper based application process.
Eligibility for Skilled immigration British Columbia PNP
- A valid job offer made to a skilled worker form an employer of British Columbia, which falls under National Occupation Classification (NOC) category of skilled occupation. (Skill type O or Skill level A or B)
- The candidate must possess necessary skills and a minimum experience of 2 years
- The candidate must prove that they have sufficient funds to support the initial stay along with the family
- Meet language proficiency requirements
- The salary offered must be competitive and meet British Columbia’s current wage rates
Express Entry System
Express Entry is the fastest way for eligible candidates to acquire Permanent Residency status in British Columbia. The candidate must qualify for a federal economic immigration program. It is entirely a web based registration and application process.
Eligibility for Express Entry
- A valid full time job offer from British Columbia’s employer
- Must have a Express profile number along with Job seeker validation code from IRCC Express Entry System
- You do not require British Columbia’s work experience; however, you must have a relevant work experience
- Must prove that you have sufficient funds to support yourself
- Must meet language proficiency requirements
Entrepreneur Immigration Stream
This program is for Businessmen who are looking to invest in a new or running business in British Columbia. It is a point based invitation system and the applicants must have required personal and investment funds.
The Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot is for entrepreneurs who want to start a new business in participating regional communities across B.C.
Eligibility Criteria for Entrepreneur immigration
- A personal net worth of at least CAD $600,000 or more
- Invest CAD $200,000 in an existing business or establish a new business
- Experience of managing a business or handling a senior level position
- The Investment or the Business proposal must create at least one full time employment for the Canadian Citizen or permanent Resident
